Today’s thoughts are by Deborah Ard.

Psalm 19:14 NIV — May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

This week we have explored what it means to abide with God. How has your thinking changed? My relationship with Christ and my view on abiding with Him may be different each day, depending on what my day holds. However, the one constant is that abiding with God requires me to walk closely with Him so as to be in tune with Him. What does the fruit of abiding look like, feel like, and sound like in your life?

Let’s pray. Dear Heavenly Father, as I draw close to You and abide in Your presence, may I be covered in Your dust and as a result produce Your fruit. May the words I speak and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
