Psalms 139:13-16 NIV — For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Our daughter, Kendal is in her fourth semester of the ADN Nursing program at HGTC. This semester she is blessed to learn about labor and delivery, postpartum, and pediatrics. She is so excited to see new life come into the world. It takes a special person to be a nurse. Not only is there so much to learn, know, and understand, it takes strength and compassion. God makes us fearfully and wonderfully to do great things.
You were once in your mothers womb. God made you in that secret place. He formed you, He gave you an identity in Christ Jesus for all eternity. You are unique. You are loved. You were made to do great things. Take a moment to do a self-check. Ask God to remind you who you are. Like in the song You Say by Lauren Daigle, believe what God says about you. Once you complete your self-check, make a gratitude list.
- Thank You, for I am loved
- Thank You, for I am strong
- Thank You, for I am held
- Thank You, for I am Yours
- Thank You for every failure and victory
Let’s pray. Dear God, I am taking all I have. I am leaving it at Your feet. You have every failure. You have every victory. Thank You for creating me, giving me an identity in You, and loving me. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
