1 Samuel 17:34-37 NIV — But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”

David trusted that his Lord, our Lord, would rescue him from the danger of the giant he would face. Do you have that same confidence in God? Take time to reflect over past giants you have faced. How has God equipped you to face those giants? What was the result when you trusted God and allowed Him to give you what you needed? Spend time thanking God for all the times He has rescued you and praise Him for all the times He will rescue you in the future.

Listen to the words of  Rescue by Lauren Daigle and be encouraged by the promise of God rescuing you as you face the giants in front of you.

Let’s pray. Dear God, thank You for all the times You have rescued me in the past and all the times You will rescue me in the future. You are my Savior! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Challenge: On the same page you have listed the giants you are facing, make a list of all the giants God has already rescued you from in the past.
