On this Final Friday of 2022 I share with you my word for 2023.
Relish: (verb) enjoy greatly.
Each of us have such busy lives and time is fleeting. My life is full of many pending changes as I am sure yours is too. I thrive on planning ahead. However, God has convicted me to relish the blessings of each day.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”
Psalms 34:8 NIV
In keeping with the idea of relishing the moments of today, my mantra is more of a quote from Emily Dickinson. “Forever is composed of nows.” I encourage you to Click here to read the full poem.

My word is rooted. I hope to become rooted in his word and fully living his purpose everyday.

The word “discipline” came to mind yet somehow it didn’t seem quite right as my focus for the year. Even with the most positive definition of “an activity or experience that provides mental or physical training”, discipline just didn’t seem like the word I wanted as a focus… FOCUS… FOCUS… That’s It!
I intend to center my interests and activities by focusing on the Bible verse Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
The mantras I chose is, “Where focus goes, energy flows.”
