Let’s look at David’s confidence in God from these two verses of Psalms 27:1-2 NIV; “The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.” David is a great example of what is looks like to have Godly confidence.

On this Water Walking Wednesday will we remember that with God on our side all things are possible? In Matthew 19:26 NIV we read; “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.””

Will we remember that when life doesn’t make sense, we have the confidence in God’s faithful promises and God is always working? In Romans 8:28 NIV; “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

When we can’t seem to grab ahold of that Godly confidence, we can recite; “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Father, Thank You for the confidence to Walk on Water that only you can provide. Help us all to be brave today to do your perfect will. Thank you for working out all the details behind the scenes. Give us the strength, that we can do all things through you! Amén
