Attitude: (noun) a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior. Similar words: point of view, vantage point, perspective, frame of mind.

I was grumpy. Circumstances had not gone as planned. The more I thought about my circumstances the more upset I became and the more my attitude was plummeting. What could I do to get out of this funk? I texted two Christian friends and shared with them how I was feeling. Each offered words of encouragement. Each prayed for me. I know in my heart that God’s timing will be perfect but the wheels in my head keep spinning the questions: When, what if, why, how long? If I am not careful I could allow myself to slip into a tornado of questioning and doubting. However, in my delay God has taught me to rely on Him and to flip my focus.

#For-goodness-sake

For-goodness-sake! We’ve all either heard this or said this before. It is an adverb used to express frustration. Deborah and I always share that we feel more attacked by Satan on our posting weeks than ever before. There have been a few days this week where For-goodness-sake may have been in my vocabulary. I really didn’t’ think I had anything good to share with you all today and then I went for a much needed 5 mile run on Thursday.
